New Thanksgiving Recipes Ideas for someone special

If I want to cook a new dish for my partner, Just for a little surprise,and Try some nice salmon steaks, small potatoes and some minted peas, baby carrots and baby corn.Asparagus spears could be substituted for the green of the peas. If the person was that sppecial you would take them out instead of making them suffer from horrible homemade food

Also you can try this recipe as we love this meal.

Serve with garlic toast or hot buns.

Salisbury Steak with Onion Gravy

1 egg
1 can (10-1/2 ounces) condensed French onion soup,
undiluted, divided
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pinch pepper
1-1/2 pounds ground beef
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
6 cups hot cooked egg noodles
Chopped fresh parsley, optional

In a large bowl, beat the egg. Stir in 1/3 cup of soup, dry bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Crumble beef over mixture and mix gently. Shape into six oval patties. Brown in a skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside; discard drippings.

In the same skillet, combine flour and water until smooth; add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and remaining soup; bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes.

Return patties to skillet. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Serve patties and gravy over noodles. Garnish with parsley if desired. Yield: 6 servings.

Pot Roast
simple..
ingredients
pot roast, potatoes-peeled and cut into chunks
baby carrots
canned whole green beans-optional
can of cream of mushroom
lipton onion soup envelope
soup can of water
place roast in roasting pan, place veggies around roast, mix soups and water and pour over roast and veggies. cook for about 1-2 hours, depending on size of roast. 400 degree oven. serve biscuits to sop up gravy... Can also cook this in a crock pot for 4-6 hours on low

Hamburger Pie
1# ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
2- 16oz cut green beans, drained
1- 10 3/4 oz condensed tomato soup
1/4c. of water
salt and pepper to taste
3 med potatoes, peeled and quatered
1 beaten egg
milk
1/2 c. shredded chedder cheese
Cook hamburger and onion till meat is browned and onion is tender; drain off grease.
Stir in beans, soup, water and season with salt and pepper.
Place mixture in a pan.
Cook potatoes in salted boiling water about 20 min or until tender; drain. mash while hot; stir in egg. Add enough milk to make potatoes fluffy, yet stiff enough to hold their shape. Season with salt and pepper.
spread potatoes on top of meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes.
makes 4-6 servings

This is quick and easy. A family favorite.
Saturday Chicken
5 servings
10 chicken pieces
(you dont have to use that many chicken pieces. Use how many pieces you want. the rest of the recipe stays the same.)
1 can condensed cream of mushroom (or cream of chicken)
1 cup of cream (dont cheat and use milk; the cream makes a lot of difference)(i have cheated and used milk lol, but the cream does make a difference)
salt, garlic powder, and paprika- to taste
chopped parsley
Season chicken with salt, garlic, and paprika. Next, spread it out, in one layer baking pan. Dilute the soup with the cream; pour it over the chicken, and sprinkle parsley on top.
Bake , uncovered, at 350' for 1 hour or until juices run clear when chicken is pierced with fork.
Makes a delicious gravy. Serve with mashed potatoes or buttered noodles or rice.

Broccoli Chicken Casserole
2-3 boiled chicken breasts, diced into small chunks
(just boil the chicken for at least 10-15 minutes or until no longer pink)
Cool and then cut into chunks
1 pkg broccoli
1 can of cream of chicken
Pepperidge Farm Stuffing
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
4 oz pkg mild cheddar cheese
Boiled the broccoli for 5 minutes, then drain. I was too afraid to put uncooked broccoli in the casserole, (thought i would ruin it).
Combine soup, mayonnaise, and lemon juice. Mix with broccoli and diced chicken. Sprinkle with cheese and stuffing mix. Bake at 350' for 35 minutes.

Last,Well I know here is Australia you have made up meals like Apricot chicken and Chicken Chow min but my partner loves Roast pork, Lasagne, Soups. Maybe stick to something like that - that he loves. Maybe Spaghetti Bolognaise or Lasagne and I use Mortadella and Egg for that special touch.
