Cheesy potatoes with bacon recipes

Cheesy potatoes with bacon

12  medium size new or red potatoes
8   sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
1   cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter, melted
1   tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

    Wash potatoes thoroughly.  Do not peel.
Place potatoes in a small kettle and cover
with water.  Bring to a boil, reduce heat and
cook for 20 minutes or until tender.  Drain
well and cool slightly.  Cut into 1/4 inch
slices.  Layer half of the ingredients in the
order given above in a greased 2 quart
casserole dish.  Repeat the layers until all
are used.  Bake at 400 for 15 minutes or until
thoroughly heated and cheese is melted.
Serves 6.
