Fruit Tart Recipes

Ingredients. (Tart Base) SERVES 8

350g plain flour

200g butter

1 egg yolk

3 tbsp brown sugar

2 tsp water

Ingredients (Filling)

450g (about 1/2 can) whipping cream

340g strawberry jam

2 kiwi fruit, sliced

4 strawberries, halved

2 halved canned peaches, cut into wedges

Procedures

1. Mix intoround dough the butter and plain flour. Add egg yolk and stir in

    2 tspwater. Knead the mixture intoround dough. Wrap with plastic wrap

    and cool in the fridge for about 30 minutes.

2. Compress the dough and sprinkle on brown sugar. Place the dough onto

     the tart molds. Bake at 180 centigrade for about 15 minutes. Let cool.

3. Beat whipping cream in a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer until

     cream thickens. Stir in strawberry jam well.

4. Place suitable amount of strawberry cream onto the tart base. Top with kiwi

    slice, strawberry and peach wedge. Serve.

 

Compress the dough onto the tart molds.
