Traditional Peanut Cookies Recipes

It's kind of Moulded & Shaped cookie. Te cookie dough is stiffer which can be moulded or shaped into balls, crescent or pretzel. Some dough needs to be refrigerated some does not. A wet fork can be used to press on the cookie dough to make pattern to the cookies. You can top the cookie with chopped nuts, sesame seeds, desiccated coconut, cornflakes and etc. to make the cookies look more apptetizing.



(A) 125g Icing sugar, 140g Roasted shelled peanuts, 1/4 tsp Salt,

      140g Flour, 1/2 tbsp Milk powder, 30g Cornflour, 1/4 tsp Baking powder

(B) 1/4 tsp Vanilla essence

(C) 120g Peanut oil

(D) some egg wask some peanuts


1.Remove the skin  of the roasted peants and grind it in an electric blender till fine and crumbly.

2.Mix (A) till well blended and add in (B).

3.Add in (C) and mix to form a smooth paste.

4.Knead into balls and place it into the greased pan.

5.Brush with egg wash and place 1/2 peanut on top.

6.Bake at 180 degree for 15~20 minutes.


If the dough is soft, you can add in extra flour and mix till it can be moulded into a ball easily.

If the dough is stiff and you find it difficult to shape, you can add in extra oil and mix till the required consistency.
