Peanut Sesame Crunch Recipes

It's kind of Moulded & Shaped cookie. Te cookie dough is stiffer which can be moulded or shaped into balls, crescent or pretzel. Some dough needs to be refrigerated some does not. A wet fork can be used to press on the cookie dough to make pattern to the cookies. You can top the cookie with chopped nuts, sesame seeds, desiccated coconut, cornflakes and etc. to make the cookies look more apptetizing.

 

Ingredients

(A) 250g Butter, 50g Shortening, 220g Sugar, 1/4 tsp Salt, 1/4 tsp Vanilla essence

(B) 140g Ground Peanut, 60g Ground Sesame seeds

(C) 280g Flour, 1 tsp Baking powder, 60g Cornflour

(D) Extra sesame seeds for tossing

Directions

1.Cream (A) till light. Add in (B) and mix till well blended.

2.Lastly add in sieved (C) and mix till well incorporated.

3.Take 1 teaspoon of the above mixture and shape it round. Toss it in sesame seeds.

4.Place it into prepared tin and press it with fork.

5.Bake at 180 degree for 15~20 minutes.

Tips

The sesame seeds have to be washed and bake in the oven till golden brown. Let it cool and place it into the blender.

Blend till fine. Black sesame seeds can be sued instead of white one to give a better taste.
