Simple marinades for grilled chicken
Source: Editor: Read:
If you are in a hurry and want a great marinade for chicken, this is it! That's it, that's all, only a couple of ingredients, marinade for about 6-8 hours, no longer than 8 hours as the vinegar will cook the chicken.. you will have the most moist flavorful chicken! For this Kraft Italian is the best! By the sounds of it this marinade works on beef too, so you might want to give that a try!
Quick and Easy Marinade for Grilled Chicken
6 hours 6 hours prep
Change to: servings US Metric
1 (475 ml) bottle kraft Italian salad dressing (not low-fat)
1/4 cup vegetable oil (or olive oil)
3 tablespoons fresh minced garlic (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper (can use more)
In a large bowl mix all ingredients together with 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
Add in chicken pieces, cover and refrigerate for 6-8 hours.
When ready to grill, remove the chicken from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels.
Season the chicken with seasoning salt and pepper, then grill.
There is enough marinade for about 10 pieces, or less of chicken.
Delicious!
My favorite is only 1 ingredient - Wish Bone Italian Dressing. Marinate at least 4 hours or up to overnight. Brush chicken with leftover marinade while on grill. Be sure to discard all leftover marinade. Quick, cheap, easy and delicious! but also you can find recipe below
1-1/2 cups chili sauce
3/4 cup red-wine vinegar
1-1/2 tbsp. Prepared horseradish
2 small cloves garlic, halved
1 tsp salt
4 boneless chicken breasts (6 oz each)
Mix chili sauce, vinegar, horseradish, garlic and salt in a bowl. Reserve 1/2 of the marinade. Add chicken to bowl; turn to coat. Cover; marinate in refrigerator for about 5 minutes. Preheat grill or broiler. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade in bowl. Place chicken on grill or on broiler pan. Grill or broil chicken, turning and basting frequently with half the reserved marinade, until juices run clear when meat is pierced with a knife, about 30 minutes. Heat remaining reserved marinade in a small saucepan, stirring occasionally. Serve hot alongside chicken.
Aslo Here is our favorite chicken dish...
in a large plastic food prep bag dump in
1. one jar of apricot jam
2. 3 cloves of crushed garlic
3. 1/4 cup of soy
4. 1 teaspoon of dried chili peppers
add more or less of each ingredient as your taste dictates.
5. Put the whole chicken or chicken parts into the bag and let marinade for however long you have! Overnight makes it even yummier, but just getting all the flavors over the chicken is enough.
For baking in the oven, I cut up big chunks of sweet potatoes, carrots and reg potatoes, whole onions star cut at the tops and your veggies are all in one dish!
6. Turn oven on full blast and brown the chicken for 10 minutes on each side, then turn it down to around 240 or so and cook another 30 to 40 minutes depending on how big the chicken is.
WE HAVE THIS ALMOST ONCE A WEEK BECAUSE IT IS SO EASY. Enjoy
