Beef a solar

2     11/2 lb. sirloin steaks,
      each cut into 3 pieces
3     bay leaves, crushed
1/2   cup oil
6     eggs,beaten
1/2   cup milk
1     tbsp. worcestershire sauce
4     small garlic cloves minced
3     tbsp. butter
6     bread slices of firm bread

     Sprinkle both sides of meat with salt,
garlic and bay leaves.  Place butter in a 10
inch skillet over medium heat until sizzling.
Brown meat on both sides, about 4 minutes
per side.  Remove from pan and keep warm.
Reserve pan drippings.  Heat oil in another
skillet until very hot.  Add bread and fry
quickly, about 10-15 seconds per side.  Drain
on paper towels and keep warm.  Scramble
eggs in second skillet.  Cover and keep warm.
Add milk and sauce to the pan drippings.
Cook over low heat for a few minutes,
stirring to loosen browned bits from the
bottom of skillet.  Arrange fried bread slices
on individual serving plates.  Top with
steak, scrambled eggs and sauce.
